The local gastronomy
In Gran Canaria as in all the islands there is a great diversity of gastronomy.
In the capital of Las Palmas you can undoubtedly find almost all the gastronomic types. In the other areas of the island, such as the coasts and inland, there are some other gastronomic specialties to discover.
At the foot of the beach you can find Chiringuitos to taste the best of the sea, inside the Guachinches, small improvised restaurants in patios and garages, where you can eat homemade dishes accompanied by local wine in a cozy and familiar atmosphere or restaurants with Michelin stars where you can discover sophisticated flavors.
