What is BUJINKAN?
Bujinkan which is a system made up of nine traditional schools of Japanese Martial Arts, created by Masaaki Hatsumi who was born in 1931.
The method is also known by the generic name of Ninjutsu (techniques and tactics used by the Ninja).
Three of the nine schools that make up the Bujinkan are from Ninjutsu. The other six are from Bujutsu ("art of war") which comprise traditional Japanese martial arts, practiced in ancient times by the Samurai.
Commemoration
During a course to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Bujinkan Churyu Dojo in Las Palmas, whose director is Professor Richard Atik, Master Pedro Fleitas presented on behalf of his Master Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, the Organization's Medal of Honor of Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts to the Honorable Mr. TAKESHI NAKAYIMA, Consul of Japan.
