History 1994-2004
We started our journey in 1994, doing Sevillanas workshops in neighborhood associations, public schools, cultural associations, private schools, etc ... "haciendo tablas" took shape in what is now a school of Flamenco.
Between 1999-2004 together with the Círculo Mercantil de las Palmas, we have trained students and partners, and carried out other choreographic collaborations for the Teatro Víctor Jara, Centro de Cultura de Ingenio, Casa de la Cultura de Telde, Sala Insular de Teatro, Teatro Rosales (Arucas), Teatro de Santa Brígida, and with the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, carrying out activities in various districts of this City Council.
Our contribution to the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria City Councils and other Cabildos de Canarias.
Performance history 2005-2012
Since 2005, until today we have expanded the radius of activities, making with a lot of effort real those projects that seemed unrealizable.
2006: Choreographies for the musical magazine "Am I going or am I not going?"
2007: Official choreographer of the Zarzuela season in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the Pérez Galdós Theater, (in its re-inauguration) La Gran Vía, El Huésped del Sevillano and La Calesera.
2008: Choreographies of the musical magazine "Es mejor soñar, soñar, soñar..."
2009: Choreography of the 1st Night of Copla at the Palacio de Congresos de Gran Canaria
2010: Choreography of the Zarzuela La Revoltosa at the Cuyás Theater and
Overture choreography in the Zarzuela Anthology directed by Luis García, director of the COFGC.
2011: Choreography of the Zarzuela La del Soto del Parral at the Cuyas Theater and Choreographies of Histories of our Zarzuela Cuyás Theater.
2012: Choreographies by La Rosa del Azafrán Cuyás Theater.
History 2011 - the school
In 2011 we have made our great dream come true. Our flamenco school "Gran Canaria Flamenco Estudio¨, located at Calle Pérez del Toro number 10, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain, with facilities specially designed for flamenco dancing, with highly qualified teachers, and with the exclusive mission to bring the culture of flamenco dance to whoever so wishes.
